Belfarsha

Anti Corruption GAME

What is the Project : Belfarcha

Project Description :

This project is dedicated to developing an engaging game aimed at educating children, adolescents, and youth about corruption in an entertaining and effective manner.

1- Observation

Belfarsha began with a detailed observation phase to understand the specific needs of youth in comprehending law and corruption. The goal was to simplify complex legal concepts and issues related to corruption, making them accessible without relying on difficult words and expressions. By identifying the barriers that young people face in understanding these topics, Belfarsha aimed to create educational content that is both engaging and easy to understand, ensuring that youth are better equipped to navigate and challenge legal and corruption-related issues in their communities.

4- Final version

Belfarsha began with a detailed observation phase to understand the specific needs of youth in comprehending law and corruption. The goal was to simplify complex legal concepts and issues related to corruption, making them accessible without relying on difficult words and expressions. By identifying the barriers that young people face in understanding these topics, Belfarsha aimed to create educational content that is both engaging and easy to understand, ensuring that youth are better equipped to navigate and challenge legal and corruption-related issues in their communities.

2- Café talks

Following this initial phase, we organized several Café Talks sessions to engage with the youth and gather their opinions and perspectives. These sessions provided a platform for open dialogue, allowing us to discuss the general concept and explore the best ways to effectively reach and engage young people. By fostering an inclusive environment, we encouraged participants to share their thoughts on how to make complex topics like law and corruption more understandable and interesting.

Through these insightful discussions, it became evident that a more interactive and engaging approach was needed. Consequently, we collectively developed the idea of Belfarsha as a card game. This innovative concept aimed to simplify and gamify the learning process, making it easier for young people to grasp intricate legal concepts and issues related to corruption. By turning learning into a fun and interactive experience, we hoped to foster a deeper understanding and greater interest in these important topics among the youth.

3- Prototyping phase

Moving to the prototyping phase took some time to reach the desired version of the game. It was essential to ensure that the game was not only educational but also fun and exciting. With this goal in mind, we developed the first version of Belfarsha and embarked on a series of visits to Sousse, Gabes, and Tunis to test it with youth groups. These sessions allowed us to gather valuable feedback directly from our target audience.

During these visits, participants played the game and provided insights on what worked well and what needed improvement. Their feedback was crucial in refining the game’s mechanics, design, and content. By incorporating their suggestions, we aimed to make Belfarsha more engaging and effective in teaching complex topics like law and corruption. This iterative process ensured that the final version of the game would resonate with young people and successfully fulfill its educational purpose while keeping the fun and excitement intact.
