The Concluding FOYER Workshop<\/strong>, held on October 25\u201326, 2025, at El Space in Tunis, crowned a remarkable year of learning, creativity, and collaboration. It was not merely a closing event, but the culmination of a collective journey  a process of growth, engagement, and discovery that began months earlier and continues to inspire beyond its end.

From its very first steps, FOYER<\/strong> has been more than a project. It has been a living experience<\/strong>, one that connected young Tunisians with educators and facilitators from PH Z\u00fcrich<\/strong> and iiDebate<\/strong> around a shared vision: empowering youth to lead, create, and sustain meaningful change in their communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The journey began in November 2024<\/strong>, at the Jedaida Youth Center<\/strong>, with the workshop \u201cDiscover Your Skills\u201d<\/em>. Club leaders explored how to use the CORE program as a resource, discovered music as a tool for self-reflection, and strengthened their facilitation and management skills. By the end of the session, 10 youth clubs were ready to launch by January 2025, led by motivated young changemakers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In April 2025<\/strong>, the adventure crossed borders to Zurich for \u201cMotivation and Inspiration for Youth Work through Exchange\u201d<\/em>. This encounter offered new perspectives on youth work, educational approaches, and the role of creative learning in building leadership and social awareness. Through making, music, and cooking, participants experienced how open and playful atmospheres can nurture confidence and collaboration.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Between April and October 2025<\/strong>, the clubs continued their activities on the ground organizing sessions, experimenting with creative learning methods, and engaging their peers in dialogue and community-building. This period reflected the true essence of FOYER: learning by doing, where young leaders applied their skills and deepened their impact within their local contexts.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In October 2025<\/strong>, the project entered its most creative and reflective phase: with \u201cMaking: A Practical Approach to Enhance Cooperation, Creativity and Communication\u201d<\/em>, youth explored LEGO\u00ae Serious Play<\/strong> and Design Thinking<\/strong> with Thomas Staub (PH Z\u00fcrich)<\/strong>, discovering hands-on tools to inspire innovation in their clubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shortly after, \u201cMedia, Creativity and Criticism: What People Do with Media, What Media Do with People\u201d<\/em>, led by Peter Holzwarth (PH Z\u00fcrich)<\/strong>, encouraged participants to think critically about cyberbullying, AI, and fake news, while exploring creative writing, mindfulness, and photography<\/strong> as means of expression and reflection.

Finally, the Concluding FOYER Workshop<\/strong>, facilitated by Mohamed Ouahebi (IIDebate)<\/strong>, Doris Kuhn<\/strong>, Manuel Zolliker<\/strong>, and Samir Boulos (PH Z\u00fcrich)<\/strong>, brought the entire community together to celebrate achievements and envision the future. Participants presented their progress, reflected on lessons learned, and explored how to sustain youth clubs and creative initiatives using the newly developed FOYER manual, \u201cKutayib.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a space for reflection, evaluation, and above all, inspiration proving that when young people are empowered, guided, and trusted, they can transform not only their surroundings but also themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collective success was made possible through the dedication of facilitators, the support of PH Z\u00fcrich \u2013 International Projects in Education<\/strong>, and the unwavering energy of Tunisian youth, who filled every session with creativity, curiosity, and commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And yet, this moment is not an end. It marks a new beginning for Jedaida\u2019s young leaders and for countless others who will use Kutayib to launch their own initiatives, connect with peers, and shape their communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FOYER journey continues<\/strong>,  in every youth center, in every idea, and in every young person who believes that change is built, step by step, together.

In September 2025, the stories will travel even further with the launch of a youth-led podcast series called Mou\u2019Athirat. Produced and hosted by young people, it will explore the lived experiences of marginalized youth across Tunisia, featuring testimonies, reflections, and insights from community leaders and experts on topics such as mental health, inclusion, discrimination, and youth empowerment. This will not just be content; it will be connection, ensuring that these voices are heard in spaces that have long shut them out, airing online, on social media, and on local radio.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

But Mou\u2019Athirat is about more than storytelling; it is about action. After the Caf\u00e9 Talks, nine youth teams will transform their discussions into awareness campaigns shaped by their communities\u2019 needs, tackling issues from mental health stigma to lack of access to jobs, education, and safe spaces. These campaigns will turn frustration into purpose, ideas into movement, and help young people find tangible opportunities, whether through training, employment, or connections to decision-makers who can help them move forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In February 2026, the journey will culminate in a national event bringing together all the voices, stories, and actions that shaped Mou\u2019Athirat. It will be a celebration of what is possible when youth are not only included but empowered, a space to share campaigns, exchange lessons, and connect changemakers from across the country. More than a closing ceremony, it will be a declaration that Tunisia\u2019s youth are not waiting for permission to lead; they are already leading, with courage, creativity, and community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tunisia is full of young people with ideas, energy, and vision, but not all have the same chance to turn potential into impact. Mou\u2019Athirat was built for those who have had to push harder to be seen, who have felt ignored, underestimated, or told they do not belong. This initiative does not ask them to prove their worth, it starts by recognizing it, and by building the tools, spaces, and support they need to grow, connect, and lead. When youth from marginalized communities rise, they do more than transform their own futures; they breathe new life into their entire communities. Mou\u2019Athirat is about recognition, dignity, and lasting empowerment. It is not just a project, it is a movement by youth, for youth, with inclusion at its heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
